Average price of gas up 20 cents per gallon
every year since 2002
This year gas expected to rise by more than $1
a gallon (diesel $1.50)
Drivers no longer looking for a price
reprieve... their looking at other options
Corn based ethanol... great idea but
displacement of 21% of corn harvest to fuel
production food prices surged. Oil imports
barely dropped. Other alternatives are on
the horizon but again the consumer awaits.
Electric vehicles are very promising but still
the cost of the battery technology to really make
an impact on the industry is beyond the range of
most buyers. Most pure electric vehicles
have a very limited mileage range and/or limited
power.
Although pure hydrogen as a fuel in vehicles
will be in our future, it will still take time and
a hefty change in infrastructure to achieve fuel
independence.
Hydrogen - Gas Hybrid technology is here today
to help bridge the timeline between our future
fuels and those who want RELIEF AT THE GAS PUMP
TODAY today while helping the environment.
NEWS
Americans burned more than 140 Billion Gallons of
Gasoline last year - some 16 million
gallons per hour. At over $4 per gallon it's
an expensive habit as well as being detrimental to
the environment at 20 pounds of CO2
emissions for that every same gallon.
The market now looks better than ever for
alternatives such as biofuels, electric cars and
hydrogen. Now the technologies are finally
catching up.
